hmmm, actually, I don't agree there - I think you an believe the situation because they are up to their bums in snow ------ as opposed to to massaged data and computer model plucks as yous said.
As time marches on - what we are learning is just how little we know about weather and climate. That apparently doesn't stop us from having a high level arrogance in pronouncing what the future holds a long way into the calendar.
It, unfortunately doesn't stop us from ploughing ahead with truly massive spending on weather dependent 'renewable' power generation investments - even though we haven't got a snowball's chance in hell of predicting what that weather will be doing in years to come.
What an amazing mob we are. The more I see of us - the more I think - if an alien ship comes near earth and has a look - they will just push the accelerator and keep on going - shaking their heads.
