The AFR gives some currency to the DB analyst's $1.10 target today under the banner " Whitehaven can't combat falling demand:Macquarie"
It's the same Macquarie analyst again Andrew Hodge .
It's an easy call for Mr Hodge to make.
maybe the short players will be emboldened and combined with noMan Napier's selling could push the stock again into the 30s . " see I told you so " would be the justifiable refrain from mr Hodge.
Does he analyze precisely what demand there is for the whitehaven product? I guess not .
in the same article Credit Suisse's analyst Paul McTaggart's call of $1.00 is restated.
As the noMan Napier position dissipates ( less than 30million now?) can the shorters dare?
Interesting times ahead.
