In recent times oil price was seen as a barometer for growth this link has been completely severed as supply which was artificially controlled by OPEC hit the market in a big way . Trouble is the fear mongering media backed by a merry band of shorters would like us to believe the connection is still there . Cheap energy is good for the economy and this country to think otherwise is just nuts .
