Actually , driverless cars might deal with bikes better . Bike riders might be more confident with a predictable machine compared to an irate , poorly skilled driver who thinks that they own the road .
No turning into driveways or at roundabouts in front of them , trying to get them under brakes at the last minute etc .
Of course it will require the rogue bike riders to behave better . Maybe if the bike riders trust the cars more they will give the cars more room ?
