Agree in general, but specifically there are more options than this (e.g. keep some part of hpe product suite but not others, keep in some regions but not others, retain business but reduce margins etc). Also bear in mind that keeping the status quo for DDR is actually a net positive because one would assume there would be fewer competitors in a rationalised landscape.
I would say that if the hpe business was lost we would be looking at a sub-$1 SP, and I would be very happy at almost any other outcome......
