You realize the all time low is around $8 right (inflation adjusted)? Doesn't mean it can't go lower lol, but still, it does suggest it can't remain there for 5 years - companies can't hemorrhage money for quite that long.
If it managed to persist 5 years due to a persistent collapse in demand, this could only really come about due to a superior alternative replacing oil, which means it probably won't recover (ever), let alone in 5 years.
