Yes very much short-term factors. As Christopher Rex said, the baby boomers have only just begun to hit that 60-70 y/o window of higher healthcare needs. That and for companies like RHC, HSO and SHL the market is discounting their overseas earnings and the lower AUD dwarfing any negative short-term momentum in local earnings. COH just reported revenue was up 32%, or 16% on a constant currency basis. So watch the currency effect on the top-line when these other healthcare companies with overseas earnings report. Potentially some short-covering may occur. Domestically focussed companies like PRY, IDX and CAJ (already reported) on the other hand may have further to fall.
