IMHO unless you have some pretty big holders supporting the action it is a waste of time.
Quite frankly you have just undergone an almost complete management change and it is far too premature to be calling this action at this point in time.
I personally think most existing holders are buggered no matter what and this action will only hasten tons demise through sapping of resources and precious funds to defend the action if it got up.
