IMF is a litigation funder, not a team of lawyers like Maurice Blackburn, Shine, Slater and Gordon that you could initiate discussions with. The chance of success and typical criteria and timelines are best explored with the lawyers directly.
Just bare in mind a Senate enquiry is expected to review the gift voucher issue later this year and some colourful words will come out from that Im sure. Bensterz is correct that the 2nd report will be more inciteful as it will highlight reasons identified by the receivers and they will have had access to internal records (assuming they were not destroyed)
Ill join a class action if we get a chance to sign up.
Just remember the timeframe for a class action may well be 2-5 years and the lawyers and litigation funders will receive around 30-50% (inc disbursements) of any successful payout. This assumes you don't want to fund any legal action from the start.
