It doesn't actually work both ways. My motivations and disclosure are clear here, as are most people's. Yours aren't. I'm a long term holder and yes I'm going to talk positively about a share I've invested in, otherwise I wouldn't be invested in it, would I? And I wouldn't be here discussing it for research and reassurance of company position with fellow holders. I have better things to do than talk about a share I have no vested interest in, and so do most people. which leads me to wonder...if your presence can't be explained by, say, Aspergers like tendencies, then why on earth don't you have better things to do than sh** talk the future of this company? Why are you here? To save us from ourselves? Without disclosure of motivations from yourself, I can only assume you have some bitter experience with the stock or someone invested in it. Who knows, maybe you thought about investing or it was on the watchlist but you missed the boat? Or maybe you're just a guy who gets his kicks from being a total buzzkill? You're far from being a holder who is merely cautioning others on their optimism and your sentiment offered totally contradicts official announcements from the company and the market reaction to them. As long term holders we're mostly optimists, but we are also realists and would be the first ones to warn each other if there was danger to the future of the SP. Put it this way: if NewToItAll gave me a warning to heed regarding the future of 88e, I'd pay attention...but someone who pops up out of nowhere after the company has seen some serious market gains, to tell me there is doom and gloom based on unfounded "facts" (read: renewable energy nut with a crystal ball for technological advancement in the future), I'll tell em to get stuffed
Also, contrary to your assumptions, with an average purchase price of 1.2 cents I am well within profit right now...so whilst ramping would be beneficial to me...it's by no means necessary for me to ramp the stock to walk away from this a happy man. Especially when the company announcements, lab test results and market sentiment are already doing that for me.
Now excuse me while I change the oil in my girlfriend's car, given cars and moving parts still need oil and will for the next 50+ years...
