only problem with what journalist wrote is that is that for those that do not have the background and understanding of the value of this large diamond, they will believe what they read ... this will make the latest diamond (based on last announcement) find will seem far less significant than it actually is ... and hence influence their potential decision to buy some shares.

The journalist may be trying to supress share price to buy some more LOM himself

If 100 carat plus diamonds becomes the "norm", does it mean that LOM will no longer make an announcement every time they find a large diamonds (even 100 carat plus) ... and hence we will only get an announcement when they have found "another" 300 carat plus diamond
