In one sense management are in a bind and I can understand why they like to take options. If they buy and the price increases in the near future they may be accused of insider trading... similarly if they sell and the price goes down. If they buy and the price goes down, or sell and the price goes up they will confirm their incompetence. Best to do nothing and wait for options to cash in or expire.
Having said that as I understand it, TT-034 an open label trial so it would be naive to think that there is no-one aware of how it is progressing. The fact (again as I understand it) that no major shareholders have dumped the stock may be encouraging. We might get a better idea about that tonight when the markets reopen after holiday Monday and we see what impact the end of the lockup period has.
