I'm still shaking my head over why they are doing this now. Surely they had a heads up regarding shareholder sentiment at the AGM? I'm torn between they really don't give a damn, and they really really don't give a damn and heres two fingers to the peasants.
I appreciate they have to formalise the options for the CEO, but tacking on the snouts in the trough dollars is badly judged. Why not wait till later in the year, after there is some positive news, and the share price has at least partially recovered. Shareholders can be a bit more charitable about Directors who share the journey.
