I suggest - in the strongest possible terms:
a) this is an utterly unambiguous statement. It says "S&P 500..No mention of ASX/200, All Ords or Australia;
b) people on HC know exactly what the S&P 500 is (and if they don't, they have a problem - the benchmark for the most mature and influential equities market in the world (and no, it's not the DJIA);
c)HC members - those I mix with - religiously follow US Stock index Futures during the day (and night).

I look forward to your intelligent posts on the Cost of Capital, the (many) follies of brokers and analysts, confirmation bias, and related matters, and especially discussion of Taleb, any time, night or day.
I presume you are familiar with his website, named after his first book (which you mentioned). You can also get drafts of his WIP ("Skin in the Game"), and follow him on Facebook (believe it or not - but no Finance allowed, not there anyway....too grubby).
