Very tame explanation unfortunately and no connection but do work in fin services.

I got in on NOR quite early on independent of HC with a small parcel - i am relatively young (30) and had to pay for a wedding last year(!) - but found this forum quite useful in finding contrasting opinions on some stocks not covered well by analysts.

I have since been a long time lurker in the forums but have not really had anything worthwhile to add so have kept my mouth shut.

I saw there was a free event with the CEO across the road from work and the ASX usually puts on a good lunch so went along.
