Do you really believe that a huge fund manager like perpetual with a 10% stake in the company would buy 2% of stock for the purpose of stopping the share price dipping for a couple of days before an announcement? Really? Surely you are joking or trolling right?
Perpetual are accumulating for only one reason, they believe it is under valued. This is a positive announcement for shareholders no matter how you look at it. It doesn't mean the results soon to be released will be any better but someone with perpetual have formed a view this is under valued.
