OPEC and Russia thought they could keep supply up to kill off the US shale operators, but little did they realise that this was a trap set by the US. I think realisation is setting in for them but they don't know what to do! If they cut output the US is going to export millions of WTI and decimate them further - i.e. US will take more market share and keep the price down until they get what they want. Apparently Europe should be following Hungary's example, but they will be slow on the uptake.
