I wouldn't say this is the case with BRN. Mr Private Market gets carried away with technology companies because they raise massive rounds, founders get a small pie to interested, VC's demands for too much change, they can't live up to their valuation, they start to loose money and try to find a desperate way for a fire sale.

IMO in BRN's case, they are undervalued because they're not dealing with sophisticated investors, they're relying the aussie retail investors like you or me to value the company and unfortunately most of us don't understand the tech or its future prospects.
