The market likes speculation more than actual results (e.g. the 42% upgrade two weeks ago). I think Woodside talking about Senegal shows that large oil companies are taking note of the JV's achievements in Senegal.
Just think; if Woodside made a bid for FAR, do you really think COP would just let that go through with all of the information they have available and the fact that is reduces their chances of being the major shareholder in the JV in the future?
