Isn't it the stage 3 formula predominantly that is high demand in China? This is for children over 12months which is when kids are already weaned off the breast so any increases in Bf won't actually impact stage 3 demand.... In Asia they are marketed in the brain benefits of toddler formula.
Stage 1/2 will always be in demand for mothers that can't Bf or who have to go to work. Some also use it to top up their breast feeding.
