Thanks for the reply. I am aware that mag anomaly ≠ gold, however if there was a sample bias, don't you think its a coincidence that is happened to occur over the mag anomaly, and happens to be the same shape? The fact that challenger doesn't have a strong mag anomaly is irrelevant, unless you think that all gold deposits in the Gawler Craton only have a weak magnetic signature. Have to keep an open mind in greenfields exploration.

I understand the odds are stacked against the Westpoint anomaly being real, however im curious about the underlying geology and why the anomaly is strongly correlated to it.
