Further more I think FAR are playing a slightly broader game than just managing the data from this current drill campaign. In the back of my mind I cant help but think that FAR has recently shot the 3d over Djiffere and will be working hard on farming out the exploration well there, something they have to complete by 2018 to hold there % in that block.

IMHO I think it is in FARs interests to keep the THP in play for many reasons, one being to entice suitors into the data room (with all their confidentiality agreements in place). And if you think about the proposition to those suitors, winning the Djiffere farm in or even taking out FAR altogether is more valuable with the THP in place rather than not.

Personally I 'get' the value of the THP at this stage for more reasons than I have described above, even though as a share holder I find it frustrating. I just have to trust that FAR management is leveraging it to their advantage. Better to protect and build value on the data, than disclose everything just to move the sp up a few pips in the short term. Just my thoughts....
