An interesting analysis on VALE situation. If they sell assets quickly to bring down their gearing but increase supply with S11D, they diminish the values of those assets and therefore the likelihood of selling them in the short term. As pointed out in the article the best way to reduce debts is to support the IO price my managing supplies as to meet the demand.
