Welcome to the world of the Kirby's. As I have posted previously - I don't trust the BOD of Village and those on it.
Today is a good example of what happens when you invest your money with those people.
As far as the prefs are concerned, I hope that those two funds take legal action Village. I also hope that ASIC investigates Village and the people on the Board and forces them to:
1. Pay the dividend on the prefs
2. Removes them from the Board because of what is IMO an abuse of their power
3. Prohibits them from acting in any matters related to corporate governance of Village
