Instead of accusing contrary analysis immediately as 'down ramp' and positioning posters as trying to capitalise on a short position we need to create a HC community filled with respect and debate towards a common goal of creating wealth for all.
When a poster is so upfront about their self interest maybe the only final conclusion can be that they are genuinely trying to help you.
I forgive each and every one of you for any personal attacks and only wish we can all learn our individual lessons from this experience.
Let's create a better financial world. Be open to challenge of opinion. Be respectful of analysis no matter where it comes from.
As my analysis insinuated, the market was going to have to 'claw back' the performance fees. It is a respectable decision by the directors to waive the performance fee as it was undeserving.
They made this decision because of the institutional pressure as was raised in the analysis and conversations with sophisticated investors.
But this does not release them of their duties to shareholders.
In my opinion, they needed to disclose the amount of the performance fee on Jan 30, the intention to waive this fee, not labelled misleading announcements as 'price sensitive' and disclose that the Nov profit estimate was misleading.
They needed to do all of this instead of leaving the shareholders they represent scared.
Director duties extend beyond compulsory reporting periods.
The theme of my posts have been about honesty and integrity. I sincerely hope for those who still hold that the Directors change their attitude to these issues. But they did the right thing in waiving the fee.
They serve and have fiduciary duties to you.
I sincerely hope holders now go and prosper in China! Go make some money and help the world become a better place
Thank you for the praise I have received from those who listened. I have now shared this with the community that I come from as the analysis was a contribution from many.
I am now leaving for I think the twelfth time? Where is that poster who was counting how many times I decided to leave! aha.
I promise I am leaving the thread of this company for good now. If you would like to contact me you know how.
