Just had a look at the new boy's linked in page. He has a wealth of experience working in Europe and SE Asia. I note under languages he has French, German and Danish. Interesting. Remember the new Perth BDM had vast experience in Japan and his fluent Japanese was one of the reasons cited for his ultimate selection. Maybe Velpic are thinking ahead with their international expansion by choosing candidates with multi-lingual skills.
At one time I worked 14 years of my life as an entertainer in sports clubs and RSLs. I learned to speak fluent Bogan in that time. I wonder if I could get a gig with Velpic.
