    $350m was the latest funding for Meitu @ $2 billion pre-money valuation (back in Dec 2014)

    As per the articles links above, I have summarised a few key points for those to;

    1) learn a little about who Meitu are
    2) consider the significance of this strategic investment from Meitu who are joining Foxconn on the migme share register

    - Meitu has attracted almost a billion users for its selfie touch up apps that aids you to modify your look with just a few clicks.
    - Meitu also manufactures smart phones with built-in filters so pictures end up looking flawless - Since 2013 Meitu has rolled out 4 MeituKiss Android phones equipped with high-end front-facing cameras for selfie fanatics
    - Meitu has apps in 510 million mobile devices
    - Meitu got traction with its flagship photo editing and sharing app Meitu Pic which has over 400 million users (one of the most popular editing apps in China)
    - other photo apps by Meitu include Beauty Camera (for selfies), POMELO (photo effects and filters) and PosterLabs (creating posters from photos) also widely popular
    - Meipai - video clip capturing and editing - just 8 months after launch of this Meipai announced 100 million users and supports sharing to Weibo ad WeChat
    - In 2015 (12 months ago) as per the article Meitu management confirmed the rumoured IPO plan for the company, though adding it may not happen anytime soon
    - Meitu is seeking to ignite a selfie fever in South East Asia and India (as per Forbes article). Meitu has agreed to invest tens of millions of dollars in a JV with Foxconn - Foxconn's sales and marketing networks in those countries will help Meitu expand more quickly.

    I will leave everyone to make up their own minds on the potential growth migme will see off the back of this deal but what is clear as per the ASX announcement and Steve Goh's comments is "the cooperation between Meitu's amazing products and migme as a platform, could provide an experience set comparable to an Instagram and Snapchat experience".

    I personally believe Meitu's investment alongside Foxconn (the world's largest manufacturer of hand phones on the planet) is a defining moment which we will all look back at in time and say their investment added to the solid foundation which made migme the behemoth of a company it is today - similar to how Tencent was built (HK:700 - chart below which you may refer to to see te upside potential), which now commands over a A$200 billion valuation.

    Last but by no means least, the latest quarterly operations report states MigMe has received expressions of interest to list on overseas markets with a view of attaining better recognition of shareholder value (particularly in the USA - Nasdaq ?) which the company is considering. In above links, Meitu similarly confirmed their intent to list at some stage with the last valuation back in 2014 being $2 billion pre money.

    Now I may be joining stars here at suggesting this but I would have thought that this promising package of migme rolled up with two heavyweights would be very attractive corporately to the likes of those who are trying to pull us into the nasdaq market. It would be a pretty easy sell after all with the hefty valuations of Similar company's on that market. We are already growing rapidly into developing markets and it seems we are now partnering to provide exposure to a handy 180M MAU in China. I see explosive growth ahead if they can link the platforms in some way and both join forces. Unicorn in the making here guys ... And by the way , that's 2 (two) multi billion dollar companies in our register now backing us to be something very very big!!!

    Holders gave just won the lotto ... Again!
