    Personally I have nothing against shorts. It might be a rigged market, but people are free to do with it as they wish be that bet up or down.
    I think it's often forgotten that shorts are a second source of buyers and in the end they have to buy, to close out profitable positions, or buy to close out if the bet goes against them.
