Mr H ........ poster comments from the AGM noted that Nic stated that, even before a TO would be presented, it is quite common in a friendly TO for the two Chairmen to sit down and informally discuss what would be an acceptable price and if they can agree on terms it is then presented to the board.
From this I conclude that Nic would be conducting informal meetings with the top twenty SH's to ascertain what they would accept and in any meeting with a potential TO he would be very aware what would be acceptable and let's face it Farjoy for one wouldn't accept some of the figures that have been mentioned here on HC although am unsure of the remaining top SH's
