We didn't discuss that - but, to me - it is crystal.
Eddie 1. probably doesn't want cash. My guess is he would want opts. (or shares).
Why? Because he knows where it is going.
2. It is vastly in our interests to have him in with a position in a couple of years rather than having been paid in cash last year ----------- why?
Because he is arranging the wedding.
The bigger the sale price - the more he makes.
Our - 'investment' should pay off in spades - at sale time.
To me - that is very very simple.
