    I was going to accumulate up to 5 million of 88e till i did some research, for those interested here it is.

    Paul Decker who is a chief geologist for Alaska's Department of Natural Resources said in an report " Source Reservior Oil Reserves Alaska North Slope 2011"
    " Hydocarbons are almost certain presently everywhere but massive fraccing stimulation must succeed"
    The land is boggy with only the Dalton Hwy and sidings only have base pad potential without massive road making infrastructure. My interpretation.
    He also states the rock is not britle enough to sustain fracturing.
    Page 20 and 21 of this report show oil play in Great Bears tenement cuts off around the Northerly aspect of 88e tenement.
    His recommendations for successful development, " all season roads for year round access to new area, not just the Dalton Hwy, more hydraulic fraccing crews and lower drilling operator costs"
    -------------------------------------------
    David Houseknecht Project Chief of USGC Energy Resources Alaska states in Expolorer Article " Big Deal in Alaska" written by H.Saucer, " regardless of what shale analog you use in terms of productivity per well, the cost of drilling a single well especially if it's a horizontal well with massive fracs on the northern slope will make it very challenging situation for a pure shale play to be economically viable"
    Decker also states in the same article in relation to oil prices " I can't see that helping, I think that there is already a significant challenge in making a source rock play on the northern slope"

    In their related website 88e states that there may be a sweet spot in their acreage based on over lapping maturity models.
    They also state they will acquire and reprocess vintage 2D seismic material..
    I am unsure about these two statements in relation to attainability of their goals.
    =============================
    Proactive Investor in their April 10th 2015 article , states that 88e paid $ 30 per acre for their lease whilst Great Bear paid $212, compared to Eagle Ford shale play in Texas sold for $20,000 per acre.
    The article also states that Great Bear is targeting source rock oil not a conventional play.
    =================================
    In Petroleum News Vol 16 No 48 it states that Great Bear (GB) had to import a drilling rig from the lower 48 at great cost as it was unable to use the existing fraccing ones in Alaska.
    It also states that GB wants to train Alaskans but admits it will be a huge training challenge and regards this as being a primary importance in it's existence.

    Be my guest to cross reference these articles and tell me if I am wrong !
