This thread is for those who have taken an interest in 1PG - whether positive, neutral or negative, and have taken the time to do some research on them. Its not for the fly-by-nighters who have done a quick google on them and suddenly think they know everything.

So its been a pretty lousy few days for 1PG's SP - the company itself is fine and sitting on a mountain of cash so its foreseeable future is not in jeopardy. But sheesh, the SP is like a rabid raccoon or even worse the mrs with PMS: dangerous and unpredictable.

I feel like ive got to know this company pretty well over time, and this is my opinion on why its SP is all over the place from a retail perspective. You may agree, you may not, and please feel free to add your 2 cents. And at least try and be constructive (try to channel your inner Ollie and not Beachy) and who knows, there may just be an intelligent conversation on this forum for once.

1PG's share price seems to reflect the problem around it - its not the easiest concept to understand if you dont have a technology background, and currently there is not a lot of metrics that people can value it by. This seems to create mistrust in people who dont think the concept will work. Once that negative view is in place, whatever moves the company makes is seen as some sort of con. Seemingly innocent or even positive moves are seen as a way to suck people in, and then next minute bang Joanna has stolen your wallet and emptied out your bank account.

On the flip side are the people who believe it will work, and are happy with what management are doing and think they are doing a great job. A lot of us have probably made money from them along the way which adds to our happy vibes. Im in this camp.

Then there are the scorned haters, who bought at the wrong time and got burnt, or sold to early and missed out on some big profits.

Finally there are the majority of others who are perhaps ok to live with the lack of understanding and valuation because the concept is appealing, but the first sign of trouble they panic, which is fair enough. Its hard to trust something you dont understand or cannot place a value on when you have your hard earned on the line.

All this uncertainty makes for an unstable SP. Any sort of selling momentum sets off the nervous holders and away she goes. This might not even be intentional, but it is also easy to manipulate - im not saying most of the share price movements are manipulation, but the wild crazy ones can certainly be easy to set off when there is so much uncertainty. And for the sake of fairness, I would throw the buying rushes in as well as possible manipulations. The same things that lead the SP down in a spiral can send the SP back up in a spin of FOMO and hype.

Not much can be done when it comes to people's understanding of what they do, but at least in time there will be revenues and results etc which will at least allow for a somewhat agreeable value to be placed on 1PG. Until then expect the roller-coaster to continue!
