well as you say....in all of your premises they would be monitored.

in fact you should even have Video recording of them as well for not only break and enters but for public liability.

however.......telephony lines rely on Telstra and of course for the thieves to overcome.

and thieves cut telephone lines on almost all attacks.


external noisemakers ala sirens to a large part are useless and more often then not silent alarms are used in situations of great risk..ie Banks,Doctors etc to eliminate risk of personal injury to employees.

i am not conversant with legisaltion in Vic and WA but in NSW it is covered by very strong legislation...the Security Industry that is.
