Pints, I see leadership potential in both Chris Bowen and Catherine King.

Bowen presented a very calm, professional and authoritative face for the ALP until the selection of Bill Shorten as OL. He did a great job as Immigration Minister under Kevin Rudd and as Shadow Treasurer has reduced Scott Morrison almost to another Joe Hockey.

Catherine King did a fantastic job as Minister for Regional Australia, Local Government and Territories under Kevin Rudd, performs with aplomb in public debate when even when the likes old motor-mouth himself is spewing his crap everywhere and presents as articulate, intelligent, tuned in and very professional.

As for Howard's legacy, what part of FAILURE to invest in core infrastructure such as the NBN, fast rial and ports as well as in our young PEOPLE do you not understand?
