New Senate rules

The new senate rules are a just another case of complete lack of judgement from Turnball. This change is the most damaging change you could possibly make to Australia's future. The biggest loser from this change is the Liberal party and the winner s are the greens and the labo2r party.

Under the new rules it is almost impossible for the liberals to ever have the balance of power in the senate. This will be held by the greens and Zenephon so unless the greens agree legislation will not be passed.

In a normal half senate election you can expect that the Liberal can get 3 maximun, Labor 2 and greens 1 except where Zenephon gets 1 or possibly 2 in SA.

So even in a complete landslide Liberals could get half the senate as a maximun but on balance they will never get their maximun in every state so the Liberals will not be able to pass any legislation without the support of Labor, the Greens or Zenephon. Their will be no independants.

So in reality Australia will become a progressive country just like all the other BROKE progressive countries in Europe.
