"I do find the FB page a bit weird and how they keep re-iterating that if the deal was off they would have to announce it. Who are they trying to appease?"


Who ?

Look around you ! They are trying to appease those people YOU are addressing here ( and hundreds of others). People who in many cases DEMAND they do what the laws of the market do NOT allow them to do, (give you info they cannot divulge) and all in the name of trying to ease the panic.

They get asked... "When will you tell us ?"

If they say "Thursday!" they are accused of holding out because (in SOME people's minds here) they CANNOT know 100% that the contract WILL be signed Thursday...just that it "should be" ( ie thats the plan) and by saying "Thursday" they are somehow acknowledging the deal is already SIGNED and "We'll let you know Thursday". Result - massive buying.

If they say nothing they are accused of hiding the truth from us (and SOME OTHERS here will claim is the deal falling through the floor). Result - massive selling.

They can't win so long as we keep finding (often imaginary) things to whine about.

I suggest we ALL do one of two things.....

1) Quit whining and LOOKING for things to bitch about and simply "Chill" and enjoy the ride...

or

2) Envoke your right to cash your shares and buy in elsewhere.... there's only 2200 other stocks to choose from. You'd be hard to please if you couldn't find at least one better than this....
