Pilgangoora spodumene concentrate meets the specifications of the entire lithium market including the niche ceramic and glass industry (33% of current market demand). Very few companies have the technical grade to supply the entire range of lithium products. This should leave PLS in an enviable position post 2017 when the relatively scarce technical grade supply from Greenbushes is locked up.
