AUSTRALIA'S largest telecommunications company Telstra has reported a fall in annual profit as earnings from fixed-line products decline.
Telstra today reported a $3.181 billion net profit for the 2005/06 year, down 26.2 per cent.
The consensus of analyst forecasts was for Telstra to report a net profit of about $3.3 billion for 2005/06.
