I think I finally get what's going on - my understanding is that NRT is in partnership with Yale re Cantrixil and Gil Mor works for Yale. This is just a guess but I suspect that part of the price for being in partnership with such an esteemed research institution is that they get bragging rights - given a lot of scientists work for peanuts - the part where they deliver their findings is probably the highlight of their careers. Furthermore as a matter of process, the ability to retain and control the release of research data is very important - otherwise you run the risk of getting corporate cowboys making premature or inaccurate media releases to pump share prices. That's not a dig at GK by the way - it just seems to me what's going on - especially in light of last years retracted announcement.
Arguably this does run up against continuous disclosure but I suspect that NRT are within guidelines here as disclosing the information is a breach of contract with Yale which would then be a breach of the law as per Pb's post above about disclosure rules - i.e. NRT has a contractual obligation to let Yale release the research obligation.
I think todays announcement is telling us all we need to know - for me personally anyway as I am not a scientist - the number of milligrams per whatever means jack to me - knowing the drug is compliant with the right authorities is what I am looking for.
I'm starting to feel good about what's going on again for the first time in a long time. On the assumption that the news is good news on April 15 lets just hope that this drug and the company gets the attention it then deserves.

The real reason is ..... On the 15th of April 2015 the share price peaked at 43c. Quite simply, the Board has stayed silent as they have been waiting for that date in 2016 so they can give us a nice anniversary present.
Kiddin'. I'm with you on this, Samscout. Makes sense to let the academic egos have their day. To be sure, to be sure.
