I'm being patient about thiss. My thesis was sound for going short before the fed meeting, uptrend broke down and I was expecting a hawkish statement. Many saw the same thing, although chose to ignore it. Many also believed the fed would be more hawkish, it wasn't. Everyone was shocked. And I got out.

I can't guarantee it's going to drop right now. But, in my view, this is just another bear market rally. Far enough if others don't agree, it's called the stock market for a reason. While others try and make a mockery out my losses, at least I am putting my money where my mouth is, unlike some of the gutless people on the long side that just want to have a dig when I get it wrong. My first trade was a disaster, which blew up on bias. My second short was just wrong. I knew it and got out. I regret my first loss but not my second. I could have been right, if you never test your ideas, you'll never make money. Like I've said before, you just need to win more than you lose. I favour the downside but I'm not biased to it. Where was the 1270 close I wanted last night?

I notice you always a bit too late entering every short, maybe you waited too long & a bit hesitant. When you decided to enter the short trade, the tide has already turned/just turned. Just my observation. Maybe should adopt "now now now" technique ?
