Personally, I am not impressed by NZO. Huge admin costs and not much to show for. Their claim to fame is still the discovery of Tui and Kupe (20 years ago, by now?). Other than that, not too much has happened. And let's not mention Pike River.
Bungled takeover of PPP a few years ago, now trying their hand on CUE.
Biggs' record at CUE was dismal too, in my opinion. He may have just received a better offer at AWE, so possible that there is no sinister reason for leaving?
