Just to clear something up:
In the video, RH says "we hope to be somewhere near pre-clinical in the next 12 to 18 months".
Earlier this year I asked RH to explain this pre-clinical stage.
I was told the formal 'pre-clinical stage' is reached following successful validation in systemic delivery animal models. There are a few more steps required before the IND filing stage. These include toxicity testing; testing for an immune response; and scale-up for manufacture.
These are fairly standard engineering processes that are required by the industry after you have established critical proof of concept with your compound. There is risk in these additional steps but arguably less than what PYC are currently trying to achieve in the animal models.
