I'm no fan of Trump, but when he says the Chinese are gaming the system, in this case probably as part of funding mix borrowing at sub 3% under a controlled exchange rate, he may have a point! The circa $50 billion 'monthly' trade surpluses need to be invested somewhere, so watch out!
