This chart is from a very casual process of collecting sales numbers on TMALL for each of the brands respective stage 3 SKU. I capture the number every 1-3 days, not very disciplined but can still see some trends.
My observations so far
PRE CNY: BAL and A2M growing much faster than Aptamil, Akarola flat growth.
POST CNY: BAL / A2M strong recovery from CNY slowdown (saw this across other brands and products not just milk powder). Aptamil had some Stage 3 out of stock, which creates that dip in their recovery numbers. Akarola had the slowest recovery and now been boosted by promotional pricing.
I'll be capturing going forward please feel free to recommend other SKUS relevant to BAL or A2M to record and trend. Y-AXIS is in ¥.
