the point I was making about CWE was that they have actually been visibly doing something - rather than stock price. EVM is very much behind closed doors and everything is "commercially sensitive". Perhaps that's because nothing is actually going on and they want to get paid an annual salary... if you hadn't done anything then wrap it behind confidentiality to hide the fact. If they have actually done something where is the fruit of their labour? where is their tower, Tapio, La Paz, ME, India & Asia?
Yes CWE are getting govt money thrown at them but wouldn't that be an indicator of them actually have a feasible concept. That can be mass produced as per wind turbines are currently. EVM is a high capital cost for something thats in effect unproven (where is the scale testbed - wind and eathquake testbeds) . how does EVM compare to mazaneres (spain) - where is the comparison of efficiency, where is anything vs Spain? there isn't anything. not even a 1/4 scale trial project to verify method of construction or implementation, different material benefits, environmental impact etc.
On CWE the fiddling with ceto6 isn't the case - they haven't produced one yet - that will be their first commercial product IMO.
If EVM had a business model that was testing and trialling designs and then sprucing that to the mass market I'm sure that they would be further along than they are and people would consider putting money towards it. Crowd fund the thing - like solar roadways... viable plan - crowdfunded it an over subscribed. Until I see a tower in some desert that has enviromission plastered on the side I'm going to remain sceptical about the aim of RD and co.
