This has nothing to do with the new CEO announcement. MML is just following the gold price and margins. Nothing changed from the fundamentals, and no news is good news from here on. You can't get any worse than 2014-2015 when each piece of news were either death in "custody" or design faults or both!
Traders went in hard simply because the gold price shot up and they will sell it down aggressively when the triggers for buying evaporates! Yesterday's darling will unfortunately follow the mean reverting back down. Nothing to shout about when the stock has lost like 90% from the peak!
