I'm not a conspiracy theorist, here's my take on things.
Firstly I agree that the ASX is absolutely an organisation where a vast number of dirty tactics are at play (there's been parliamentary inquiries into it).
I'll break down your post into sections to give my take on it, as it was a bit long to tackle in one hit.

At the moment there is no revenue in the door to speak of and I think the early retail holders are the ones that are thinking it's the real deal, insto's might be looking in my opinion, but aren't convinced or aren't ready to commit.
'There are brokers who have buy volumes only and others with sell volumes only - and, that makes sense. And, there are one's with buy and sell volumes that come close to matching - but with a net minus or plus --------- which can also make sense -
but, there seem to be some distortions - I could be wrong here - but, I would have thought that over a similar period - mainstream (for want of a better word) brokers - might have a similar buy volume to sell volume ratio - but, they don't appear to.'
I personally try to accumulate at least 5-10 thousand a month, there's a lot of people on this site alone that continue to accumulate for long term, meaning they will hold these shares, that could amount to high hundreds of thousands to a mill going into safe hands monthly. When you add in traders (who can also be responsible for the bots if it's a big enough trading entity) with the low volumes traded that wouldn't in my opinion leave many for accumulation for someone after a decent amount.

I agree a lot of mums and dads use this trading platform, and I think it backs up my theory on small holder accumulation, 400k's worth for the example period.

There is most definitely manipulation used on the ASX, bots are a prime example in my book, and they are being used on AJX , but again in my opinion they are being used by big trading entities and not for accumulation, again we may well be the only ones at the moment looking at it to be a 'prime candidate.'

One or two - buy the rumor, sell the news ---------------- yes, fine - always possible ------------ but, ALL of them?'
Again in my opinion, there isn't enough outside interest (this is the very reason it happens) so the traders sell the news and buy back in when the price is down, they may well even accumulate a few between Ann's to do this (on top of their trading) as its a regular pattern.
Also I'd like to throw in here the very reason Nick's coming to OZ is to try and get some insto backing and outside interest (not just retail interest).
Pretty much the rest of your post shows that we've achieved great milestones and the SP should be going up due to great contracts and now existing legislation as well as pending legislation.
I agree with this 100%, but I just think FR isn't a sexy industry and until revenue comes in it's going to continue to plod along at the whim of the traders and small accumulators.
This is a fantastic company with huge potential in an ever increasing age of awareness towards toxins, however I believe we either need to list on NYSE or get insto's involved to get new investors interested.
Happytrader has been talking about roadshows etcetera for months to get awareness out there and sell the AJX brand, I think that thought pattern is spot on (there are investors I've spoken to in this country that have had no clue about Alexium).
I wish it would skyrocket like everyone else but I don't see it happening until the end of October when the quarterly Ann is released, unless we get something from left field.
It all comes down to "show me the money".
I'm prepared to wait.
