In this response I will assume that the plea deal referred to in the initial post in this thread is correct.
My preference would be for CTP to get the money back and to save court costs rather than seeking retribution for a crime.
I wouldn't want to spend a day in a US jail or to have my reputation torn to threads. I think the punishment whether 6 months or 18 months should be a big enough deterent to another executive. After this incident I wouldn't think that DH will get another executive position again.
