A minority of Abbott acolytes are trying hard to bring down the government. They may succeed and basically destroy the coalition. Once the mainstream electorate gets a whiff of a possible plot to get abbott back, they will abandon the coalition in great numbers. The NSW Liberal Party is a basket case with factions at war with one another. The donations scandal isn’t over yet and that will compound the situation.
