As an installation technician who is well aware of OH&S and takes their own responsibility for their personal safety, according to the guidelines, a product that is stated by the manufacturer to be in a well ventilated area, then it is obvious that it gives off fumes, so caution is warranted. These fumes cause sterility, birth defects and can burn skin. I see a problem.
Mot Telco installs have batteries inside and beside electrical equipment and don't require ventilation.
